Music Directors |
Director - Fred MooijGetting Fred to write a bio is akin to pulling hen's teeth. Suffice to say that this self-described "arm-waver" is passionate about singing barbershop harmony and has done so for decades. He was a member of our predecessor Pine Ridge Chorus and sang tenor with Ontario District 1994 Novice Quartet Champions " Ganaraska Rascals".

| Assistant Director - Barry Ott
Singing 4-part harmony from the age of 5, Barry has been in and around Barbershopping for most of his life. 23 years with BHS, the first five with the Dukes of Harmony as "Rookie of the Year" and competing at International level. Interrupted by work, he resumed with Oshawa's Horseless Carriagemen as Programme VP and with the Tickety-Boo quartet. Then he was accepted into Toronto Northern Lights, Canada's winningest chorus, and the experience was incredible. Health cut short his tenure with TNL and he subsequently settled in Brighton, leading to his intersection with the Ganaraskals. A big man with a big, bass voice and a big heart, Barry adds his infectious passion and enthusiasm to our chorus. Read his longer bio. |
