Music Director wins award

Lynn Brown returned from the Sweet Adelines Region 16 competition in Syracuse this weekend past with the Novice Director Award, having led the Durham Shores Chorus to the top of Division "A" (less than 30 women on the risers). Congratulations, Lynn! There's hope for us. His award is all the more gratifying given the large number of novice directors (three years or less at the helm).

He was understandably excited: "My Durham Shores Chorus was absolutely STOKED!!!! Lois & I will recover!!"
